THE CAST
In OFFSIDE, Natasha Waisfeld shines as Manu's sister, Belen.Peruvian/Argentinian Jewish writer and actress from Miami, FL, Waisfeld graduated from New World School of the Arts with a BFA in Theater honing artists like Tarell McCraney (Moonlight) and Alex Lacamore (In the Heights.)
Her original one-woman show ‘Love Frantic’ toured in various theaters including the United Solo Theater Festival in NY and her career has expanded to LA as well. She was nominated at Indie Fest for Best Supporting Actress and Best Dark Comedy for her original film, ‘The Get Over It Guru’. Waisfeld's credits also include Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, GENTEFIED on NETFLIX, and the award-winning short film “LA SALVADORA.”

NATASHA WAISFELD
In the short film OFFSIDE, Andrés Simonian plays the supporting role of Manu's best friend, Fabi.Born in Argentina and having moved to the U.S. at a very early age, Andrés Simonian is a devoted actor whose credits include more than 10 stage performances, several TV commercials and more than 20 short films. Simonian has been part of diverse projects including work from NYFA, UM, MDC and other South FL independent filmmakers.
Simonian is a Producer in Salvaje Teatro. Alongside Luciano Cortés they have created their own live comedy show, BRODA, which brought back outdoor theater in post-pandemic South FL, selling out every single performance.
LUCIANO CORTES
ANDRES SIMONIAN
Luciano Cortés stars in OFFSIDE as the protagonist, Manu.Born and raised in Argentina, Luciano Cortés is a graduate actor from the Dramatic Arts Metropolitan School of Buenos Aires. His passionate acting career began early at the age of 11 and includes work in the areas of stage performance, commercials and films. Some of his credits include "San Valentinder", "Para Normales" and "Dinero Facil".
Cortés was part of international stage companies such as Fuerza Bruta, Cuerda and Urgen. He created and is the General Director of Salvaje Teatro. Cortés is also the Creative Director of Universo Prismal.

EMILIANO GIOFFRE
DIRECTOR
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Emiliano Gioffré moved with his family to Miami, FL, when he was 10 years old. He graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School and worked in television production, specifically in the live broadcast of international soccer games, for over a decade. Gioffré is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Television Production in the School of Entertainment & Design Technology of Miami-Dade College. Inspired by true events, his thesis project OFFSIDE is a personal and intimate narrative short film that kicks off an auteur career educated by MDC's standards, influenced by rich film history and with original, bold and intimate storytelling as its emblem.
STAR SILVA
PRODUCER
Star Silva is a Miami-Dade College student, pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Film and Television production. She completed an internship at the TV station PBS as a Production Assistant. She has directed her own short-film and worked on several projects, including the short-film, "Offside". Silva aspires to work as a producer on more films and TV shows to come.
ALAN FRIAS
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Alan R. Frias is enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Film & TV Production at Miami-Dade College's North Campus School of Entertainment and Design Technology. Graduating Spring 2021; He has worked as a videographer for Google and the Latin Grammy's. He was also the Director of Photography for the student short film "Clean Slate" which won the "Best Local Production Student Film" category in the 2020 Hollywood Florida Film Festival.
