The year is 2014 and it's summertime in Miami. Manu and Fabi are best friends from Argentina living in South Florida. These two buddies party hard in the club Saturday night and return home to tune into the 2014 FIFA Word Cup the next morning to watch Argentina take on Germany. Belen, Manu's troubled sister is also in the house. Privately, Belen demonstrates her deep desire for Argentina to be crowned champions but they clash over old family superstitions and grudges. Manu's drug-induced rage along with a failed last-minute intervention from Fabi and Belen bring upon a dramatic climax where emotions collide with the consequences of the game.
